72-Hour Turnaround: Tech Start-Up’s Live Broadcast Success

When a Bay-Area AI start-up needed to launch their signature product system via global livestream, they realized a critical roadblock: limited production capabilities with just 48 hours until live on air. Partnering with TeamPeople, they looked towards a broadcast-grade, multi-camera studio production with zero downtime, access courtesy of TeamPeople’s talent network & resources. The Challenge.

Imagine this scenario: your CEO is preparing to anchor the biggest, most anticipated product launch of the year: an on-demand broadcast of a new in-house AI platform. The script is ready and the stakes are high, but behind the scenes lurks a serious problem. Your lean, green, in-house marketing team is staring down a wall of limited production gear and no livestreaming experience. They realize they’re in too deep, but it’s too late for scrambling. That’s exactly where our client found themselves just three days before going live.

With the clock ticking down to a 72-hour hard deadline, the team scrambled to find a solution that wouldn't compromise their CEO’s high standards. They had the drive, but they lacked the technical safety net, multi-angle camera options, and broadcast engineers needed to guarantee a seamless feed to their global audience. Enter TeamPeople, with an even shorter timeline of just 48-hours to step in and work their magic.

What we did.

TeamPeople stepped in 48 hours before the cameras started rolling. Rather than replacing the client's internal marketing team, they partnered directly with them, integrating an elite crew, including a DP, Broadcast & IT Principal Architect, Technical Director, and dedicated Project Managers directly into their workspace. TeamPeople negotiated an extra day for on-site prep, allowing time to audit their existing equipment and immediately identify quick-win visual upgrades & other low hanging fruit.

Next came a physical and technical overhaul focusing on polish, redundancy, and executive comfort. They swapped intrusive podcast mics for low-profile, high-clarity lavalier microphones, a change the CEO highly preferred. They brought in professional studio lighting to elevate production quality, introduced a second camera for dynamic cutaways, and deployed an ATEM switcher to seamlessly weave in graphic overlays and video playback. To set a clear path forward, TeamPeople ran hands-on training sessions with the in-house marketing team, building a solid foundation of best practices for all of their future media projects.

Outcomes.

01.
Production quality & technology upgrades

The physical space was elevated from a basic office setup into a high-end, professionally lit environment more appropriately suited for broadcasting. Transmission was flawless, notably the end-to-end technical stability managed by TeamPeople’s industry experts. Dedicated operators and broadcast engineers remained on standby for troubleshooting efforts and monitored proactively rather than reactively.

02.
Development, not displacement

The internal marketing team received on-the-spot training and made note of SOPs to confidently manage internal events moving forward.

03.
Earning trust through exceptional delivery

The experience delivered to the client opened the door to future HQ events, consultative studio design, and long-term advisory roles to TeamPeople.
