  Case Study

Building a high-velocity content engine at scale.

TeamPeople supported multiple client teams at a large scale hybrid event with over 40,000 attendees. Through a 10 year partnership our support of the event has evolved from 10 onsite crew covering internally broadcast breakroom rooms to full live capture, an integrated digital content program and a pop up studio on the exhibition floor.

The Challenge.

The demand for immediate digital coverage turns the post-production pipeline into a high-stakes race against the clock. The traditional process of managing over 250 individual sessions creates a chaotic, manual scramble of transferring, verifying, and indexing files, all this leading to an agonizing lag between ‘cut’ and ‘edit’. Having highly skilled editors sitting idle while waiting for massive media files to ingest is a costly, frustrating bottleneck every content leader knows all too well. The challenge was to completely eliminate this human friction, transforming a fragmented ingest process into a near real-time delivery engine before the sheer volume of content overwhelmed the team.

What we did.

To meet the massive scale and fast-paced timeline we deployed a unified, high-velocity content engine designed to bridge the gap between live event energy and instant digital consumption. Our solution centered on a synchronized, multi-tiered pipeline that could handle intense, parallel workflows: managing a near-continuous, three-day live broadcast, capturing over a hundred sessions across secondary venues, and operating a rapid-response editing desk. By embedding our production team directly into the event's heartbeat, we established a frictionless workflow that allowed us to capture, refine, and deliver premium assets, including a same day turn around red carpet highlight sizzle, which was then featured directly in the next morning’s Keynote.

Outcomes.

01.
Same-day delivery

Editors were able to start working in near real-time, ensuring the fastest post production pipeline we’ve ever delivered.

02.
Massive output scale

Maximized digital footprint by producing 44 social cutdowns, capturing 119 highlight sessions, and running a near-continuous 3-day live broadcast.

03.
Frictionless floor capture

Engineered the pop-up studio on the exhibition floor, proving high-volume creation can coexist seamlessly without disrupting the attendee experience.

04.
Ecosystem shift

Moved from a standard task-checklist to a synchronized engine, keeping an unbroken narrative thread alive across all platforms in real time.
