TALENT FAQ

Questions about our JOB BOARD

How do I apply?

To complete an application, visit our job board! Once you find a position you’re interested in, review the job description and click “Apply for the Position” at the bottom of the page. The first time you apply, you’ll set up a password-enabled account that allows you to go back and update your resume any time you’d like.

What if I want to apply to more than one job?

We recommend that you apply to positions that you are qualified for and best suit your skillset. However, you may apply as many times or for as many positions as you’d like. We keep resumes in our Talent Database for longer than 1 year and will sometimes reference our database when reviewing candidates for new positions that match their skills and qualifications.

Can I submit my portfolio, reel, or website?

Definitely! There’s a section in the application to submit links and attachments to portfolios, reels, and websites. This is one of the best ways to display your visual and audio work for us and for potential clients.

How will I know that my resume is received by TeamPeople?

When you complete the application and upload your resume, you’ll see a confirmation message. This means that your application has been submitted successfully and received by our recruiters!

Are there minimum requirements for education and experience?

Each position listing will indicate the education or level of experience required in order to be considered for that specific role. Our clients typically require that people we hire have a baseline knowledge of the industry or role through education or experience. However, some clients are open to having someone train on the job. If so, that’ll be indicated in the job description.

Does TeamPeople have an Internship or Apprenticeship Program?

We currently hire interns at select client locations. Internships are for those involved in a 2 or 4 -year accredited educational program where credits are received. When available, internships will be posted on our Job Board. TeamPeople is currently planning to participate in the CTA Apprenticeship Coalition.

Does TeamPeople have work in my area?

We’ve hired in all 50 states and internationally! If you’re interested or available to relocate to any cities where we have openings, please indicate so on your application. If the position can allow for remote work or will pay for relocation, it’ll be indicated on the posting. If you’re a freelancer who’s willing to work as a local in select cities in a region, please indicate this on your application.

How often is the job board updated?

New, full-time positions and freelance gigs are posted almost every day. However, there are short-term gigs that won’t be published because scheduling for these roles happens swiftly, and we book from our active roster.

Questions about our Hiring Process

What happens after I submit my resume?

Our recruiters and hiring managers review applicants in our database on a daily basis and work together to evaluate candidates to interview. We will contact you if we’d like to arrange an interview either in-person, by video, or by phone. If you aren’t contacted, your resume remains in our Talent Database for future positions.

Do you contact everyone who submits a resume?

TeamPeople makes every effort to contact as many applicants as possible. Due to the large number of candidates who apply each day, we may not have the opportunity to touch base with candidates immediately. We’re focused on filling priority positions first, and we often contact those who meet the requirements for both the position and our client. Our recruiters and hiring managers are the points of contact for interviews and will let anyone who interviewed know the outcome of a position once the job requisition has been closed.

I’m a freelancer. How does that work with TeamPeople?

We welcome freelancers in all forms, including LLCs and sole proprietors, independent contractors, and incorporated companies. To those we represent, the agreement is non-exclusive so you’re always free to work for other clients while also working for TeamPeople's clients. There are no guarantees of work, but we’re always seeking new talent who could be a great match for projects. The freelance booking process moves quickly, so most freelance gigs are not posted on our Job Board.

Can you give me some career advice?

We want you to be successful! Whether you’re seeking advice on how to become a freelancer, how to structure a resume, top interview tips, or other various career and industry topics we’d love to share what we’ve learned. Check out our blogs for lots of advice and meet up with us at upcoming events.

Those are identified at the time of the interview.

Do you offer medical benefits?
