Background
TeamPeople is not an ordinary company offering staffing solutions and payroll services. TeamPeople offers a complete menu of media and television services ranging from domestic and international staffing to related creative, technical, and support services. All management and staff of TeamPeople are television professionals with careers that represent the broad range of experience in numerous positions in broadcast, cable, corporate media, and institutional settings. The high quality services the company provides to our clients illustrate a deep understanding of the industry as well as direct experience with dozens of job categories employed within production entities.
TeamPeople currently provides staffing and related services to a roster of major clients around the country. These include dozens of production companies creating series and individual programs. We also provide staffing and related services to the media production entities within Fortune 500 companies, broadcast organizations and financial institutions.
TeamPeople’s experience in people management and staffing dates back to 1996 when our parent/strategic partner, the Asgard Entertainment Group (AEG), entered into agreement to provide over 100 full time personnel to the Washington bureau of CNN. As our experience and business grew over the next several years, our best practices evolved as well. Our ability to recruit and retain creative and technical people on a national scale grew as well. Most importantly, our commitment to servicing customers both on-site and on-location became the centerpiece to TeamPeople’s business model.
As the business continued to grow, a new entity was founded in 2004. TeamPeople was established to exclusively provide a range of premium staffing services to broadcast, cable, and media entities in the U.S. Andrea Keating, the founder/owner of Crews Control joined as a founding partner in the formation of the new company. This partnership provided TeamPeople with a strategic relationship with Crews Control, the dominant company in the world providing location crew services to production entities. The combination of expertise from both AEG and Crews Control established TeamPeople as one of the most experienced resources in the country focusing exclusively on providing staffing services to the production industry. It also firmly established TeamPeople with an enormous domestic and global reach.
